Single-Storey Modular Home, West Sussex

In mid-2026, ModCon PM was commissioned in partnership with CMS Konstruct Ltd to deliver a high-quality single-storey modular home in the heart of West Sussex. The project showcased the advantages of modern methods of construction, combining off-site manufacturing with efficient on-site delivery to create a contemporary and sustainable residential property.

ModCon PM was responsible for managing and delivering the critical installation and completion phases of the project. This included the installation of the modular units, roof structure, external cladding systems, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services, and all internal finishes. Through careful planning, coordination, and execution, the project team ensured a seamless transition from module delivery to a fully completed home.

Working collaboratively with CMS Konstruct Ltd and the wider project team, we maintained strict quality, safety, and programme controls throughout the build. Our expertise in modular construction enabled us to efficiently coordinate multiple trades and activities within a compressed programme, minimising disruption and maximising productivity on site.

A key achievement of the project was the successful completion of all works, attainment of Building Control sign-off, and handover to the client within just eight weeks of module installation. This accelerated delivery programme highlights the speed and efficiency that modular construction can offer without compromising on quality or attention to detail.

The completed home provides a comfortable, energy-efficient living environment that blends seamlessly with its West Sussex surroundings and stands as a testament to the benefits of collaborative project delivery and modern construction techniques.
